Lavender ‘Hidcote’

AKA: English Lavendar 'Hidcote'

Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote'

I grew these from seed and nearly every one of them germinated – super exciting! Once they reached 2 – 4 inches tall they seemingly stopped growing, especially the ones I stuck in the ground. At least they are still alive! We’ll see if they actually start putting on height once the summer weather hits (crossing fingers that it actually will hit, it’s been such a cold and wet spring of 2022).

    This is me!

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
