Improved Meyer Lemon

Citrus × meyeri

This plant died!

I’ve finally given up on citrus – poor performance for us indoors and out. Maybe someday!

We’re hoping this lemon tree will supply abundant fruit for our Tiki cocktails. My fingers are crossed that it will be tricked into believing that it’s basking in full sun on our deck. For the winter my plan is to move it into the sunroom and install a grow light above it. As of this entry, it already has a number of flower buds!

About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
