Hardy Begonia ‘Heron’s Pirouette’

Begonia Grandis 'Heron's Pirouette'

I bought these thinking they were Hardy White Begonia, which I’d been searching for more of to fill out the bed underneath the deck stairs. The foliage is super similar and I didn’t realize what I had until I went to plant them and actually looked at the tag! Once I saw them side by side they were obviously a bit different, and it looks like the flower color is pink instead of white. Nonetheless I planted them in front of the hardy whites, which might actually be nice once the bed fills in. If not, they are movable!

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
