Garnet Laceleaf Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum dissectum 'Garnet'

This is a nice little tree that adds texture and color to the small garden space that it’s in. Underneath a tall rhodie and a flowering plum, it’s a bit more shaded the Green Laceleaf maple I planted at the same time. It’s a little leggy and I think it would love to be in a slightly sunnier spot.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
