Deodar Cedar ‘Snow Sprite’

AKA: Himalayan Cedar 'Snow Sprite'

Cedrus deodara 'Snow Sprite' [SEE-druss dee-oh-DAR-ah]

I passed up this stunning conifer at one nursery because of the price ($100 for a pretty small specimen) but ended up buying it when I came across it a second time. Some sources say it needs full sun, others recommend part sun for better color and to avoid potentially scorching hot afternoon sun.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
