Creeping Wirevine

Muehlenbeckia

I think this is a newer plant, available in nurseries within the last 10 years. The texture complements with many other plants and it’s super easy to divide. It comes back even when it looks to be on its last leg, but isn’t invasive.

Great for propagating by division. Dies back in winter, comes back every year. Trim old vines in spring before new growth.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
