Deciduous shrub. Ideal for difficult spaces. 8-14" tall and 3' wide. Zones 3 - 9. Aronia is one of the toughest, most durable shrubs, and needs little care. If you wish to prune, the best time is immediately after it blooms. However, be aware that this will remove the potential for any fruit to form.

    Gardener's Log

09/2021: Planted 1 2-gallon specimen behind garage, lower level.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
