Yuletide Camellia

Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide'

After our chain link fence was exposed by overzealous ivy trimmers, I decided to plant evergreens on our side so I didn’t have to rely on shared foliage for privacy. It took me a while to decide on a camelia because they are so slow growing, but the fact that they are so shade tolerant plus the beautiful dark foliage of this variety won me over. I think it will provide a nice contrast to the canadian hemlock and green aucubas next to it.
