Rodgersia ‘Fireworks’

Rodgersia pinnata 'Fireworks'

I moved this Rodgersia from its original location only a year after I first planted it, so I suspect it will take another year to come into its full form. I love the leaf shape and rough thick texture on them – it provides a nice contrast to other shade plants like hostas and ferns. So far it likes its new home in the bog garden at the end of the creek.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
