Rainbow Leucothoe

AKA: Fetterbush

Leucothoe fontanesiana 'Rainbow'

This guy was part of a mass planting behind the garage in 2017. I’ve since decided that my design was too wild and disorganized, so I decided to move him to an open spot next to our coral bark maple. The color and leaf shape complements the maple’s own warm color palette quite nicely.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
