Japanese Forest Grass ‘Aureola’

Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola'

One of the few grasses I dare to grow in our yard, this little gem serves as a great foil for the numerous hostas around it. I initially planted it in a deeply shady spot and it didn’t do very well. I transplanted it to a sunnier area in the northeast corner and I’ve been rewarded with beautiful regrowth every year since.
