Coreopsis ‘Fall Sensation Quartz’

Coreopsis 'Fall Sensation Quartz'

Coreopsis ‘Fall Sensation Quartz’ bursts into bloom in spring with a dazzling display of bright pink flowers. This perennial is part of the Fall Sensation series that are bred to flower from spring until fall, with individual blooms that last for weeks without fading. Its compact and mounding habit makes it a great choice for the front of the border or a landscape accent.

I purchased three of these to fill in a gap in the front of a bed of Lavender ‘Hidcote’, Goldenrod, Shasta daisy and ‘Ruby Star’ echinacea. The soft colors of these blooms pick up on the tones of the surrounding flowers nicely, and their narrow, dark green leaves provide a welcome contrast to the broad-leaved daisies and the lavender’s blue-green foliage.
