Carex ‘Feather Falls’

Carex oshimensis 'Feather Falls'

Carex ‘Feather Falls’ is an evergreen grasslike perennial that brings a bright texture to the mixed garden border. Feather-like plumes of variegated foliage form graceful mounds slightly wider than tall.

Looking for something to contrast with the boxwoods and lenten roses in our small front garden, last year I planted 3 small specimens relatively close together. Well, they have gone bananas, and while they look fabulous at the moment, I think I may need to separate or divide them soon. I will probably opt for division – this plant looks fabulous, has been fuss-free and so far has shown zero evidence of pest problems. This is the kind of plant I want all over the garden!
