Redwood Sorrel

AKA: Oregon Wood Sorrel

Oxalis oregana

On a few hiking trips I’ve seen amazing drifts of these carpeting the forest floor. I planted these in a spot that’s likely a lot drier than the forest floor but I’m hoping that with supplemental water, these will also create a nice a carpet in the somewhat bare stepping-stone area I planted them.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
