Dwarf Lady Fern

Athyrium filix-femina 'Minutissima'

This is a tiny version of the Lady Ferns that take over the North Side Yard, but is more well-behaved. It’s cute but not awe-inspiring. Perhaps I’d like it more if I had a rockery to put it in!

Hardy fern that looks good spring and early summer. Can dry out in August. Cute but not exceptional.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
