I put this plant on my wish list after seeing it someplace I can no longer remember, probably YouTube. Anyhow I later spied it at a nursery and bought 3 specimens, which sat in pots for several months until I decided they had to go into the ground before they died from being root bound. So far so good, even though they are in a spot that gets blasted with sun mid day. I think they may be in enough shade later in the day to keep them happy.
Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
