Shade Grade: B
Fabulous part shade plant if you can keep the slugs at bay.
Britt-Marie Crawford Ligularia
Ligularia dentata 'Britt-Marie Crawford'
I LOVE this plant so much that I tolerate the slug-eaten lower leaves. It seems to be fairly drought tolerant in our part-sun location despite the apparent need for moisture, though it wilts temporarily in afternoon sun. Provides a striking contrast to nearby hostas, and the yellow flowers are a welcome late color-shot in the August garden.
