String of Hearts

AKA: Rosary Vine, Sweetheart Vine

Ceropegia woodii

Research says to keep this guy very dry, especially in winter. I potted in in standard soil, though I put sand at the container bottom. Is a succulent, recommended to have a bit of direct sun, but bright indirect light works too. So far it’s doing great – so well that it’s needed several trim jobs in the first few months I’ve had it.

    About Me

Hi! I'm Lorie and I wrangle plants in a muddy, feral shade garden in the Pacific Northwest. I built this site to serve as a gardening journal and quasi-accurate record of planting successes and failures. My goal is to help "future me" be a better gardener. I hope what I've learned along the way can be useful to you too. Thanks for visiting!
