Hellebore ‘Ivory Prince’ is an old and popular variety of Hellebore often referred to as the Christmas Rose. Compact and sturdy with dusty green leaves, this hellebore sports creamy white flowers on reddish stems.

I planted one specimen over a decade ago which has slowly expanded into a respectable patch. Nearly disease and pest-free, this low-maintenance perennial is one of my favorites – its blossoms are an early sign that the dark and gloomy days of winter are numbered and spring is on its way.
