Hardy Creeping Golden Fuchsia

Fuchsia 'Autumnale'

I’m a sucker for multicolor perennials. And since I know fuchsias do well in our garden and are generally pest-free, when I saw this at the Lake Forest Park Garden Sale I had to have it. Of course I didn’t have any idea where I would put it. To make room, I ended up moving an overgrown Astilbe that was blocking the view into the creek. This is a low grower, so if it doesn’t mind some midday sun, it should be a perfect spot.
